Dear students,
a warm welcome to the winter semester 21/22 to all of you!
For the start of the semester, here is some important information for you:
[Important Corona-related information]
In contrast to the past 3 semesters, the winter semester 21/22 will count as a normal semester andtherefore be counted towards the maximum duration of study. However, due to the Corona regulations, the study progress check is still suspended in this semester.
[Module Handbooks]
The updated module handbooks for the winter semester 21/22 are already online. They can be viewed here. Please note that you must always use the latest module handbook for your study planning (according to your study regulations).
[SWT-Sem-B/M]
Unfortunately, the Chair of Software Engineering and Programming Languages cannot offer a seminar this winter semester. Please make use of the seminars offered by other chairs.
[Bachelor's Programme ISSS]
This semester, the BSc Computer Science: Software System Syience programme has also switched to the inclusion of 6 ECTS projects. In module group A7, you can complete one or two projects of 6 ECTS, whereby at least one of them must come from the computer science subject group.
This change applies to those of you who started your studies in the winter semester 18/19 or later.
[Bachelor's degree programme ISSS & AI]
The module ISM-PT-B (elective area A5 (BSc AI) / A6 (BSc ISSS) - General Key Qualifications) can unfortunately no longer be offered as of this winter semester. Please choose other offers in this elective area.
[Master's programmes]
The Master's project Software Engineering and Programming Languages (SWT-PR1-M) will only be offered in the summer semester this academic year, but not in the winter semester.
In addition, please also note the following information:
Study-FAQs: Here you will find information about your studies - before you contact the examination office or the examination board with questions, it is worth taking a look here; your question may then answer itself.
Have a successful semester and best regards,
