Liebe Studierende,
ein herzliches Willkommen im Sommersemester 25!
Zum Semesterstart sind hier einige wichtige Ankündigungen für Sie gesammelt:
[Fakultätsnachwuchs]
In diesem Semester können wir wieder zwei neue Professoren an der Fakultät begrüßen:
Prof. Dr. Matthias Galster unterstützt ab sofort den Fachbereich Informatik mit dem Lehrstuhl Experimentelle Softwaretechnik. Er bietet dieses Semester neben einem Bachelor- und einem Masterseminar das Modul "ESE-SRE-B Software Requirements Engineering" an, das in den Bachelorstudiengängen AI, KI & I belegt werden kann.
Zudem ist Prof. Dr. Benedikt Morschheuser neu an der Fakultät im Bereich Wirtschaftsinformatik und leitet die Gamification Research Group. Das Modul GAMES-DGS-M Designing Gamified Systems ist im Masterstudiengang CitH in Modulgruppe A2 (Anwendungskontext) und im Masterstudiengang IRD in Modulgruppe A2 Design Vertiefung wählbar.

Zum Sommersemester sind die Fachbereiche Informatik und Angewandte Informatik auf generische Projekt- und Seminarmodule umgestiegen. In den Modulhanbbüchern für dieses Semester finden Sie daher nicht wie zuvor das Seminar- und Projektangebot einzelner Lehrstühle, sondern lehrstuhlübergreifende Module.
Bisher absolvierte Projekte und Seminare bleiben selbstverständlich gültig.
[Bachelorstudiengänge]
Das Modul MOBI-DE-B wird erst ab dem Sommersemester 2026 angeboten. Die Vorlesung zum Modul VIS-GIV-B wird wegen eines Forschungssemesters nur als Aufzeichnungen angeboten.
[Masterstudiengang AI & CitH]
In diesem Semester wird wie schon im SoSe24 das Modul MI-IR-M durch das Modul NLProc-IRTM-B ersetzt. Um IR-M zu absolvieren müssen Sie also die Lehveranstaltung von IRTM-B besuchen und diese Prüfung absolvieren.
[Masterstudiengänge ISoSySc & AI]
Die Prüfung des Moduls KTR-GIK-M wird in diesem Semester abweichend vom Modulhandbuch und Studienordnung eine schriftliche Prüfung (nicht Hausarbeit mit Kolloquium) sein.

a warm welcome to the summer semester 25!
For the start of the semester, here is some important announcements for you:
[New professors of the faculty]
This semester, we can once again welcome two new professors to the faculty:
Prof. Dr. Matthias Galster is now supporting the Department of Computer Science with the Chair of Experimental Software Engineering. In addition to a Bachelor's and a Master's seminar, he is offering the module “ESE-SRE-B Software Requirements Engineering” this semester, which is eligible in the Bachelor's degree courses AI, KI & I.
In addition, Prof. Dr. Benedikt Morschheuser is a new member of the Faculty in the subject group Information Systems and heads the Gamification Research Group. The module GAMES-DGS-M Designing Gamified Systems is eligible in module group A2 (Application Context) in the CitH Master's degree program and in module group A2 Design Specialization in the IRD Master's degree program.

The departments of Computer Science and Applied Computer Science have switched to generic project and seminar modules for the summer semester. In the module handbooks for this semester you will therefore not find the seminar and project offerings of individual chairs as before, but rather cross-chair modules.
Previously completed projects and seminars will of course remain valid.
[Bachelor's degree programs]
The module MOBI-DE-B will only be offered from summer semester 2026 on. The lecture for the VIS-GIV-B module will only be offered as recordings due to a research semester.
In addition, please also note the following information:
[Master's degree program AI & CitH]
This semester, as in SoSe24, the module MI-IR-M will be replaced by the module NLProc-IRTM-B. In order to complete IR-M, you must therefore attend the IRTM-B course and pass this examination.
[Master's degree programs ISoSySc & AI]
The examination of the module KTR-GIK-M will be a written examination (not a term paper with colloquium) this semester, in deviation from the module handbook.
