Liebe Studierende,
ein herzliches Willkommen im Wintersemester 23/24!
Zum Semesterstart sind hier einige wichtige Ankündigungen für Sie gesammelt:
[Fakultätsnachwuchs]
In diesem Semester können wir wieder einige neue Professor:innen an der Fakultät begrüßen.
In der Fachgruppe Angewandten Informatik: Prof. Dr. Markus Rickert mit Multimodal Intelligent Interaction
In der Fachgruppe Wirtschaftsinformatik: Prof. Dr. Christian Maier mit Health and Society in the Digital Age sowie Prof. Dr. Milad Mirbabaie mit KI-Engineering in Unternehmen.
Lehrveranstaltungen dieser Fächer sind in diesem Semester weder in Prüfungsordnungen noch in Modulhandbüchern gelistet. Die Veranstaltungen können aber bei fachlicher Passung auf Schein belegt und dann im Nachhinein anerkannt werden.
Beachten Sie aber v.a. hinsichtlich Projekten und Seminaren die Zugehörigkeit der Professor:innen zu den Fachgruppen und damit verbunden die Wählbarkeit in ihrem Studiengang.
[Bachelorstudiengang ISoSySc und AI]
Dieses Semester bietet Prof. Adler das Modul "AlgoK-DM-B: Diskrete Modellierung" an. Es ist wählbar in Modulgruppe A3 (Bachelor ISoSySc) bzw. in Modulgruppe A2 (Bachelor AI). Die erste Vorlesung findet nächsten Mittwoch, 25.10., 10 Uhr statt.
Das Projekt DT-C++-B wird nicht mehr angeboten. Alternativ bietet die Professur für Data Engineering nun eine Vorlesung zur C++-Programmierung an: DT-CPP-B; wählbar in Modulgruppe A3 (Bachelor ISoSySc) bzw. Modulgruppe A2 (Bachelor AI).
[Masterstudiengang CitH und AI]
Das Modul HCI-MC-M wird dieses Semester nicht angeboten; zum Wintersemester 24/25 finden die zugehörigen Lehrveranstaltungen wieder statt.
[Masterstudiengang ISoSySc]
Das Modul SWT-CPS-M wird nicht mehr angeboten. Im Pflichtbereich von Modulgruppe A1 wird es durch SWT-SWQ-M ersetzt. Dieses Semester findet eine letztmalige Prüfung für SWT-CPS-M statt.

Die aktualisierten Modulhandbücher für das Wintersemester 23/24 sind bereits online. Diese sind hier einsehbar. Beachten Sie bitte, dass Sie sich für Ihre Studienplanung immer nach dem aktuellsten Modulhandbuch richten müssen (gemäß Ihrer Studienordnung).

For the start of the semester, here is some important announcements for you:
[New professors of the faculty]
This semester we can again welcome some new professors at the faculty.
In the Department of Applied Computer Science: Prof. Dr. Markus Rickert with Multimodal Intelligent Interaction
In the department of Information Systems: Prof. Dr. Christian Maier with Health and Society in the Digital Age, Prof. Dr. Milad Mirbabaie with KI-Engineering in Unternehmen.
Courses of these chairs are neither listed in examination regulations nor in module handbooks in this semester. However, you can get certificates (Scheine) for these courses and if they are suitable for your subject they can be recognized for your study program afterwards. However, please note the affiliation of the professors to the subject groups, especially with regard to projects and seminars and their eligibility in your study program.
[Bachelor program ISoSySc and AI]
This semester Prof. Adler offers the module "AlgoK-DM-B: Discrete Modeling". It is eligible in module group A3 (Bachelor ISoSySc) or in module group A2 (Bachelor AI). The first lecture will be held next Wednesday, Oct. 25, 10 am.
The project DT-C++-B is no longer offered. Alternatively, Data Engineering now offers a lecture on C++ programming: DT-CPP-B; selectable in module group A3 (Bachelor ISoSySc) or module group A2 (Bachelor AI).
[Master's program CitH and AI]
The module HCI-MC-M will not be offered this semester; the related courses will be offered again in the winter semester 24/25.
[Master's program ISoSySc]
The module SWT-CPS-M is no longer offered. It will be replaced by SWT-SWQ-M in the compulsory part of module group A1. This semester there will be a last exam for SWT-CPS-M.

The updated module handbooks for the winter semester 23/24 are already online. They can be viewed here. Please note that you always have to refer to the latest module manual for your study planning (according to your study regulations).
