ein herzliches Willkommen im Wintersemester 22/23!
Zum Semesterstart sind hier einige wichtige Informationen für Sie gesammelt:
[Fakultätsnachwuchs]
Zu diesem Semester können wir wieder einige neue Professor:innen an der Fakultät begrüßen.
In der Fachgruppe Angewandten Informatik: Prof. Dr. Stefan Ultes mit Sprachgenerierung und Dialogsysteme.
In der Fachgruppe Informatik: Prof. Dr. Isolde Adler mit Algorithmen und Komplexitätstheorie und Prof. Dr. Maximilian E. Schüle mit Data Engineering.
In der Fachgruppe Wirtschaftsinformatik: Prof. Dr. Gerit Wagner mit Digital Work.
Lehrveranstaltungen dieser Fächer sind in diesem Semester weder in Prüfungsordnungen noch in Modulhandbüchern gelistet. Die Veranstaltungen können aber bei fachlicher Passung auf Schein belegt und dann im Nachhinein anerkannt werden.
Beachten Sie aber v.a. hinsichtlich Projekten und Seminaren die Zugehörigkeit der Professor:innen zu den Fachgruppen.
[Modulhandbücher]
Die aktualisierten Modulhandbücher für das Wintersemester 22/23 sind bereits online. Diese sind hier einsehbar. Beachten Sie bitte, dass Sie sich für Ihre Studienplanung immer nach dem aktuellsten Modulhandbuch richten müssen (gemäß Ihrer Studienordnung).
[Bachelorstudiengang ISSS, AI & CitH: WiMa-B-001/2]
Ab diesem Semester werden nur die neuen Wirtschaftsmathematik-Module (WiMa-B-001 und WiMa-B-002) mit je 6 ECTS laut aktuellen Prüfungsordnungen gelesen.
Die Satzungsänderungen, die aus dieser Änderung der ECTS-Anzahl resultieren, sind nur für diejenigen von Ihnen gültig, die das alte Wirtschaftsmathematik-Modul noch nicht absolviert haben. Es gilt also:
BSc AI: Die Veränderungen der ECTS-Grenzen des Pflichtbereichs A1 und des Wahlpflichtbereichs A4 gelten nicht für Studierende, die das Modul WiMa-B-001b vor Inkrafttreten dieser Änderungssatzung bereits ganz oder in Teilen absolviert haben.
BSc ISSS: DieVeränderungen der ECTS Grenzen des Pflichtbereichs A1 und des Wahlpflichtbereichs A5 gelten nicht für Studierende, die das Modul WiMa-B-001b vor Inkrafttreten dieser Änderungssatzung bereits ganz oder in Teilen absolviert haben.
MSc CitH: Die Veränderungen der ECTS-Grenzen der Bereiche A1, A2 und A3 gelten nicht für Studierende, die das Modul WiMa-B-01a oder WiMa-B-02a vor Inkrafttreten dieser Änderungssatzung bereits ganz oder in Teilen absolviert haben.
[Bachelorstudiengang AI]
Die neue Prüfungsordnung sieht in Modulgruppe A3 nur noch ein Pflichtmodul, AI-KI-B, vor. Alle anderen Module können im Wahlpflichtbereich belegt werden.
Diese Änderung gilt auch für alle, die bereits einige anderen Module im Pflichtbereich absolviert haben. Diese wurden in den Wahlpflichtbereich umgebucht.

For the start of the semester, here is some important information for you:
[new professors]
This semester we can again welcome some new professors at the faculty.
In the Department of Applied Computer Science: Prof. Dr. Stefan Ultes with Language Generation and Dialog Systems
In the Department of Computer Science: Prof. Dr. Isolde Adler with Algorithms and Complexity Theory and Prof. Dr. Maximilian E. Schüle with Data Engineering.
In the department of Information Systems: Prof. Dr. Gerit Wagner with Digital Work
Courses of these chairs are neither listed in examination regulations nor in module handbooks in this semester. However, the courses can be taken on a mock basis if they are suitable for the subject and can then be recognized afterwards.
However, please note the affiliation of the professors to the subject groups, especially with regard to projects and seminars.

The updated module handbooks for the winter semester 22/23 are already online. They can be viewed here. Please note that you always have to refer to the latest module manual for your study planning (according to your study regulations).
[Bachelor program ISSS, AI & CitH: WiMa-B-001/2]
From this semester on, only the new Business Mathematics modules with 6 ECTS each (WiMa-B-001 und WiMa-B-002) will be read according to the current examination regulations.
The changes in the examination regulations resulting from this change in the number of ECTS are only valid for those students who have not yet taken the old Business Mathematics module. Thus, it applies:
BSc AI: The changes to the ECTS limits of compulsory A1 and elective A4 do not apply to students who have already completed all or part of the WiMa-B-001b module before.
BSc ISSS: The changes of the ECTS limits of the compulsory area A1 and the compulsory elective area A5 do not apply to students who have already completed the module WiMa-B-001b in whole or in part before.
MSc CitH: The changes to the ECTS limits of areas A1, A2 and A3 do not apply to students who have already completed all or part of the module WiMa-B-01a or WiMa-B-02a before.
[Bachelor's degree program AI]
In the new examination regulations only one module in A3, AI-KI-B, is an compulsory module. All other modules can be taken as electives.
This change also applies to all of you, including those who have already taken some other modules in the compulsory area. These have been rebooked in the compulsory elective area.
