Wir werden das World Organic Forum zum Thema „Localising
SDGs“ und die Gründung eines Netzwerkes 2021 wieder aufgreifen
(leider mussten wir das zu diesem Thema geplante IV. World Organic Forum
2020 aufgrund der Corona-Pandemie absagen). Auch heute ist diese Thematik
noch aktuell.
Von 16. – 18. März 2021 wird das
World Organic Forum als ONLINE Tagung
stattfinden.
Das World Organic Forum 2021 steht im Fokus der lokalen
Umsetzung der Agenda 2030 mit ihren 17 Zielen für nachhaltige Entwicklung
(Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs) für eine gerechte und zukunftsfähige
Welt. Thematisch im Fokus stehen die SDG-Ziele „Beseitigung der Armut“
(SDG1), „Ernährung sichern“ (SDG2), „Nachhaltige Konsum- und
Produktionsweisen“ (SDG12) und „Maßnahmen zum Klimaschutz“ (SDG13).
Wie können diese Ziele durch eine Bottom-up Bewegung
erfolgreich in ländlichen Regionen umgesetzt werden? Welche Bausteine
bieten die SDGs für die regionale Planung? Diese und weitere Fragen sollen
mit Vertreter:innen aus Politik, Forschung, Wirtschaft und
Zivilgesellschaft aus Ländern des Nordens und des Südens diskutiert werden.
Gemeinsam wollen wir Beispiele kennenlernen, die zeigen, wie sich Regionen
auf den Weg zur lokalen Umsetzung der SDGs machen und wie sich dabei die lokale
und globale Ebene im ländlichen Raum miteinander verknüpfen lassen. Die
Tagung gibt Raum, Leuchtturmprojekte kennenzulernen sowie
Qualitätskriterien für „SDG-Musterregionen“ zu erarbeiten und zu
diskutieren.
Das World Organic Forum 2020 ist Startschuss
für neue Kooperationen um die lokale/regionale Umsetzung der SDGs sowie
deren Austausch weltweit voranzutreiben. Ziel ist die Gründung eines
internationalen Netzwerks von SDG-Regionen, eine breite Anzahl von
Regionalinitiativen aus dem In- und Ausland haben ihre Teilnahme zugesagt.

The World Organic Forum on "Localising SDGs" and the
establishment of a network will be taken up again in 2021 (unfortunately,
we had to cancel the IV. World Organic Forum 2020 due to the Corona
pandemic). Even today, this topic is still relevant.
From March 16 - 18, 2021, the World
Organic Forum will take place as an ONLINE meeting.
The World Organic Forum 2020
focuses on the local implementation of Agenda 2030 with its 17 Sustainable
Development Goals (SDGs) for a just and sustainable world. Thematically,
the focus is on the SDG goals "Eradication of poverty" (SDG1),
"Food security" (SDG2), "Sustainable consumption and
production" (SDG12) and "Climate protection measures"
(SDG13).
How can these goals be successfully implemented in rural
regions through a bottom-up movement? Which building blocks do the SDGs
offer for regional planning? These and other questions will be discussed
with representatives from politics, research, business, and civil society
from countries of the North and the South. Together, we want to learn about
examples that show how regions are moving towards local implementation of
SDGs and how the local and global levels are interlinked in rural areas.
The conference will provide space to get to know lighthouse projects and to
develop and discuss quality criteria for "SDG model regions".
The World Organic Forum 2020 is the starting signal for new
cooperations to promote the regional implementation of SDGs and their
exchange worldwide. The aim is to establish an international network of SDG
regions. A broad number of regional initiatives from Germany and abroad
will participate.
