In addition to the technological and conceptual foundations, ethical aspects are also known and are included in the assessment. Students understand the interdisciplinary nature of research and practice, particularly with regard to the change in the social status quo through digital technologies, such as artificial intelligence/assistance systems. Students will be able to assess the overall role of digital technologies in the social context. They are familiar with common methods and technologies and can apply them prototypically. They are familiar with the ethical implications and challenges posed by new technologies and are able to interpret and critically classify empirical and theoretical work in this context. A further qualification feature is that the content covered can be applied to their own questions. To this end, relevant research questions and research gaps can be identified.
