Tasks:
- Latin and French are the most important donor languages for English. Use the OED's Advanced search options to find out how many words English has borrowed from either Latin or French and visualize the results with the Timeline function.
- In the Advanced search options, combine the French as Language of origin with the different Subjects listed in the drop-down list to find out to which fields of the lexicon Latin or French have contributed most words.
