* Description of Responsibilities *
The position belongs to the faculty staff („Grundbereich") of theSocial Cognitive Systems group. Responsibilities hence involveparticipation in the research, teaching and organization activitiesof the group. The main focus is on research, scientificqualification (Ph.D.) in Computer Science is encouraged.The Social Cognitive Systems group investigates what it takesfor cognitive systems to become socially intelligent interactionpartners. We combine a basic research perspective withapplications in novel scenarios of human-machine cooperationor assistance (including for special user groups). The group isinvolved in numerous projects funded by DFG, BMBF or the EU(for more information see scs.techfak.uni-bielefeld.de).The open position may contribute research on one or moreof the following (or related) topics:- online machine learning in social interaction- dynamic causal (Bayesian) models for perception, reasoningand decision-making in social cognition- prediction-based embodied social behavior processing
