Dear members of the cognitive science society,

we would like to invite you to the virtual interdisciplinary college
(VIK) 2021 spring school from March 12 to April 9, 2021. As in past
years, we offer a dense program of exciting talks in the first week,
plus some more in-depth courses in the weeks from March 19 to April 8,
before we conclude with a celebratory evening event on April 9. You can
find the program at this link:

https://interdisciplinary-college.org/vik-program/

The motto of this year's virtual IK is 'Connected in Cyberspace',
including spatial representations in the brain (cyberspaces), system
models of organisms (cybernetic organisms), and models of
interconnectedness from graph theory to the embedding of AI in society
(cybernetworks). Moreover, we will meet in our very own cyberspace,
modelled after the usual IK venue in Günne, Möhnesee.

Registration is open *until February 28* at this link (due to being
virtual, registration is particularly affordable this year, with a
discount for GK members):

If you wish to present your own research at the event, please consult
our contribute page (note that there is a best poster award, kindly
sponsored by GK):

Please feel encouraged to share this announcement with your groups or
with any further colleagues or students.

We thank you for your consideration and support and are hoping to see
you, or some of your colleagues or group members at VIK 2021.

Yours sincerely,

Scientific Chairs of VIK 2021

Benjamin Paaßen, Humboldt-University of Berlin
