  • Welcome to the e-learning module of the Basic Library Course

    This module is the first part of the Basic Library Course (Basiskurs Bibliothek) and is interdisciplinary.

    Completion of the e-learning module with test and the training class with test are mandatory for the following courses:

    •  English and American Studies (Introduction to English and American Literary Studies), German Studies (Einführung in die Neuere Deutsche Literaturwissenschaft), Romance Studies (Einführung in die Literaturwissenschaft) and Slavonic Studies (compulsory part of all introductory courses)  
    •  Pedagogy and Primary School Pedagogy
    •  Political Science (Grundlagen politikwissenschaftlichen Arbeitens), Sociology (Einführung in das soziologische Arbeiten) and Economics (Grundlagen wissenschaftlichen Arbeitens - GwA I)

    The second part of the Basic Library Course is a training class. To avoid face-to-face contact in the winter semester 2020/2021, the material of this training is avaiable in the virtual campus course "Anmeldung zu Kursen der Universitätsbibliothek".

    Confirmation of participation:

    After completing the e-learning module with test, the traning class and the second test, you will recieve the confirmation of your participation via e-mail.

      Please work through the provided material.

      The presentation gives you an overview of the library system of the Bamberg University Library and introduces you to the library collection and terms of use.


    • Test


      Passing the test is a prerequisite for successful completion of this module.
      You only have one attempt to pass the test.

      Therefore, please work through the learning material before attempting to answer the test!
