  • Tools and APIs for a Digital Collaboration Ecology 

    The research area of Computer-Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW) has a long tradition and many great theories, concepts, and tools came out of it. Yet, digital collaboration in companies is only now getting common-place. In this thesis we particularly investigate free open-source digital collaboration tools with a special focus on open Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). The goal of this thesis is to develop a concept and system of a cross-platform integrated digital collaboration ecology spanning different platforms (e.g., macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, Android).

    Werkzeuge und APIs für die Digital Collaboration Ecology

    Die Forschung im Bereich der rechnergestützten Gruppenarbeit (Computer-Supported Cooperative Work, CSCW) hat eine lange Tradition und hat viele großartige Theorien, Konzepte und Werkzeuge hervorgebracht. Allerdings erfährt die Digital Collaboration gerade jetzt eine große Verbreitung in Unternehmen und wird zur Selbstverständlichkeit. In dieser Abschlussarbeit  werden freie Open-Source-Werkzeuge zur Digital Collaboration insbesondere mit Blick auf deren offene Schnittstellen (Application Programming Interfaces, APIs) analysiert. Das Ziel dieser Arbeit ist die Entwicklung eines Konzepts und eines Systems zur geräteübergreifenden Zusammenarbeit (z.B.: macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, Android).
