General
The first session will be held on Wednesday, 14/04/21, at 12:00 as a virtual event. Login information and slides will be made available soon.
The first three to four sessions will be an introduction to the foundational concepts. After this initial phase, students will prepare topics (both theory and practical applicaton) in groups and present their results to the rest of the audience.
Grades will be assigned based on presentation and implementation (code).
Practical component/implementation
Implementation can be done via pre-packaged libraries and on publicly available datasets; the results should be presented to the seminar.
We encourage students to do their implementation in one of the following languages:
- R
- Python
- Julia
If a group decides to use a different language, the choice should be discussed with the teachers.
